FAQs
What is the best technique for putting on a tight, pull-on style latex skirt?
Focus lubrication on the hips. Apply a generous amount of silicone dressing aid around your hips and thighs. Roll the top edge of the skirt down slightly, step in, and slowly roll the skirt up inch by inch, smoothing out any wrinkles as you go. Never yank the hem or the waistline.
How do I prevent the hemline of a mini or pencil skirt from rolling up?
Ensure proper sizing. The skirt should be sized slightly smaller than your actual hip measurement to provide gentle compression. If rolling persists, you can try applying a thin layer of talcum powder to the inside of the hem, which reduces the friction that causes it to grip and roll up.
What special care is required for skirts with lace-up details or buckles?
Protect the metal from the latex. Before storing, wrap any metal buckles, grommets, or eyelets in acid-free tissue paper to prevent chemical staining. When cleaning, avoid soaking metal parts and ensure the latex is completely dry before re-lacing the skirt.
Can I safely wear latex skirts over leggings or tights?
It is not recommended. The constant friction between the two layers (latex against synthetic fabric) can permanently dull the skirt's shine and potentially lead to abrasion or premature material wear. Latex should be worn over bare, well-lubricated skin, or over a heavily talced interior lining.
